Press Release: John Cannon Homes, Inc. Announces Newest Venture - Commercial Services-Concept to Completion

John Cannon Homes, a name synonymous with luxurious, custom homes built on the Southwest coast of Florida has decided to carry over his residential Design /Build approach into the Commercial Construction arena.
John Cannon Construction will specialize in the vertical integration of services; providing design, space planning, construction, and financing, along with tenant improvement services. With nearly 20 years of residential construction experience, the John Cannon Homes Team has a wide scope of construction industry savvy. New projects will range from retail tenant improvement, Design/Build projects, and commercial land development. Currently the company has plans to develop a local restaurant and Country Club.
Darrin Burtwell, who joined the Cannon Team in September, will oversee this new venture. Burtwell brings 20 years of experience in development and project management. Burtwell has been involved in the design and construction of 12 individual government development projects. These include site assemblages, site design, building design, construction, tenant improvement and building management. Partnering with the design and construction skills of John Cannon and his team, ensure John Cannon Construction’s success. “We look to use our success in the residential sector to guide our vision in the commercial arena”, said John Cannon, President of John Cannon Construction.
In addition to leading a team of Certified Residential Construction Supervisors, John Cannon is a certified, licensed; Class “A” Contractor in the state of Florida. This allows him to build any type of structure within the state of Florida.
